    Understanding Donor Body Language

    This presentation explores how body language influences donor interactions and the fundraising process. Participants will learn how to recognize nonverbal signals including facial expressions, eye contact, posture, and personal space which can reveal a donor’s true thoughts and emotions.

    Key Lessons Learned Over 47 Years: Reflections and Insights on Values-based Estate Planning and Nonprofit Fundraising

    In “Key Lessons Learned Over 47 Years,” Eddie Thompson, founder and CEO of Thompson & Associates, reflects on more than four decades of experience in values-based estate planning and nonprofit fundraising. Drawing from real-world encounters and hard-won wisdom, Thompson distills his journey into 11 practical lessons. This session offers a candid, deeply personal, and highly applicable guide for fundraisers and planned giving professionals striving to build trust, honor legacies, and make meaningful connections.
